The Finance and Business Development Manager will oversee the department and report directly to the CEO. The Finance and Business Development Manager will review current systems and processes, create an investment strategy, review income streams, manage compliance, reporting and risk management ensure best practice is at the forefront of all processes. This position will also partner with the leadership team to drive WWHS’s financial sustainability into the future. Providing strategic advice and recommendations, reviewing, and advising on current processes, overseeing internal audits, and implement improvements as required. This position also oversees the transition of Accounting and Finance being delivered in-house in certain areas

Ideally we are seeking candidates with the following

  • A completed bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience
    as a financial accountant. OR
  • A CPA or CA qualification, or a completed bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Accounting or
  • Finance, along with a minimum of five (5) years’ professional experience as a financial accountant.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Financial Modelling skills
  • Experience working with Aboriginal corporations
  • Management experience or team leader level experience
