About The Role

Reporting to the CEO, the Human Resource Coordinator is responsible for ensuring professional, accountable, legislatively compliant and best practice management of the Human Resource function for Wurli. This will incorporate delivering timely human resource services, advice, administration and other corporate support services to the Management and Operational teams to ensure sound human resource practices are maintained across the organisation. The Human Resource Coordinator in partnership with  senior management will assist identify HR priorities and recommend appropriate people management solutions and actions in relation to organisational development, culture and change to deliver effective outcomes and manage employer relations issues utilising a best practice model.

The Key Service deliverables for this role are to lead and manage the Human Resource services and team in accordance with legislative and other requirements in the key areas of:

  • Recruitment, selection and on boarding process
  • Remuneration and benefits
  • Performance management
  • Professional development (learning and development)
  • Employee / industrial relations
  • Community engagement and workforce planning
  • Employee separation
  • HR Risk management and compliance

What You Will Need

You will have relevant tertiary qualifications and at least 5 years’ experience as a Human Resource Professional. This role requires an experienced individual who can demonstrate HR leadership and management experience; sound HR generalist knowledge; sound industrial relations knowledge including in depth knowledge of employment legislation and managing industrial matters. Previous experience in the primary health care sector or an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation is preferred.
