Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Program

Wurli’s Alcohol & Other Drugs service provides a holistic and culturally competent drug and alcohol counselling service for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities of the Katherine region.

AOD services are provided to assist in the reduction of the harmful impacts that Alcohol and other Drug misuse/ abuse has on other individuals and family safety, community well-being, as well as contributing towards the health outcomes for individual clients.

You can come and see us for support for the following:

  • Drug and alcohol counselling for individuals, families and groups
  • AOD issues and resources
  • School visits and information sessions

Where you can find us

The AOD program is located upstairs at the main clinic, 25 Third Street

To contact us during work hours or arrange an appointment

Ring 08 8972 9100 to speak to the AOD staff or to arrange transport.

You can also come into any of our clinics and ask to see a Registered Aboriginal Health Worker or Doctor

You can phone 08 8972 9100 and ask to be picked up and brought in to the centres.  We will drop you back home as well.


Our AOD Program is funded through the DPMC IAS Safety and Wellbeing Program.
